Diversity and Mutual Understanding

Some sessional freelance work last week, facilitating the DMU course with St Mary’s and Stranmillis teaching students, under the care and vast experience of Mary Potter. Important for them, but important for me too, to go back to some fundamental questions. Why is diversity and mutual understanding important? How should a classroom reflect this? What does a teacher need to do this well?
